GEORGIA MAE FOSTER DAY
February 19, at 11:00 a.m.
Sunday, February 19, Ms. Foster will be with us to celebrate her 96th birthday. Ms. Foster has been a part of our congregation for many years but has not been able to attend church for the past few years. The Women's Ministry will have a basket in the foyer for birthday cards for Ms. Foster. We appreciate Ms. Foster and the Christ-like example she has been to us, and the many prayers she has prayed for us as a church family. We hope everyone will be here to wish Ms. Foster a happy birthday!.

CHURCH COOKBOOKS
The Women's Ministry has organized a church cookbook with 300 recipes. The history of the church is included in the book. The cookbooks and a CD are $15.00 each. The ladies will be selling the books in the foyer following the morning worship. These would make a great Valentine's Day gift for family members. Thank you to Robin Workman for all the work and time she has donated in putting this together for us. The ladies hope to have all 200 books sold by the end of February.
CHOCOLATE COVERED EASTER EGGS
The ladies' project for March will be making chocolate covered peanut butter eggs. They will have them for sale in time for Easter.
CAKE DECORATING CLASS
A cake decorating class is being offered at AC Moore's for only 20.00, a discount from the usual fee of 45.00. The class is every Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in February. We only have two ladies to decorate all of the eggs. The ladies could really use your help in this area. If you have any questions regarding the class, please see Robin Workman.
SUNDAY SCHOOL TRAINING SEMINAR
February 17-18 at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail.
Steve Parr, Author, of Sunday School That Really Works, Allan Taylor, Author, of Sunday School in HD and Josh Hunt, Author, You can Double Your Class in Two Years or Less will be the speakers. The cost of the seminar is 20.00 per person and the church will pay 10.00 toward the cost of anyone who would like to attend. This is not a seminar for teachers only; it is for anyone who has a heart to minister to others through the Sunday School class. We encouraged you to join us to hear these outstanding speakers. We will be registering tomorrow to receive the cost of $20.00. You can register at the door for $25.00 on Friday at 6:00 p.m. If you plan to attend, please fill out the form in the church bulletin and drop it in the offering plate or see Lottie Burns. The Seminar will be Friday, Feb. 17, 6:30-9:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – noon.
